I am Krista Phillips, an educator with 7 years of experience teaching in the Montessori and Reggio Emilia traditions. After years of incorporating yoga, breath awareness and relaxation techniques into my classroom curriculum, I became a Certified YogaKids Facilitator, Certified Dharma Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level, and am currently working on my final project to complete certification as a Relax and Renew (Restorative) Yoga Teacher. In short, I believe that the benefits of yoga are readily available to people of all ages...
I offer teacher workshops on the benefits of yoga in the classroom and teach yoga to more than 200 children and teens each week. Classes include yoga poses, breath work, relaxation and creative expression.
